  • Are you ISO-certified?

    Tisch Scientific is not ISO-certified.  We keep a Quality Manual as well as detailed records concerning our performance/systematic/quality metrics.  We may also provide quality certificates for our products upon customer request.
  • Do you accept returns?

    Per policy, we cannot accept returns on items that have been opened, used, or damaged.  If a customer is wishing to return an item due to a suspected manufacturing defect in the product, we reserve the right to investigate this claim prior to issuing any refund.  For all approved return...
  • Do you have OEM capability?

    We do have some OEM/custom manufacturing capabilities.  If you are looking for a product that is not readily offered on our website, please contact a member of our team with your specifications/requirements and we will look into whether it is something we can produce.      
  • Can you recommend a specific product for my application?

    We are not laboratory-trained at our facility, and therefore cannot make recommendations on products based on customer applications.  We do offer several product guides and compatibility charts on our website under the “Resources” tab.  These free resources may assist customers with narrowing down their search to the most suitable materials...
  • Where do you ship from?

    We ship direct from our facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST.
  • How can I contact you after-hours?

    Please submit all after-hour inquiries/requests to salesteam@tisch-env.com.  These emails will be responded to the following business day.  You may also leave us a voicemail at 513-467-0222.  The appropriate party will contact you the following business day.   
  • Can Whatman ship direct from their facility?

    Whatman does not have the capability to drop-ship to our customers.  They must first deliver to our facility in Cincinnati, OH, and from there we will ship direct to you.
  • Do you assess sales tax?

    We only assess sales tax for orders shipping to Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.  If you are tax exempt in these states, please submit your tax exemption information to salesteam@tisch-env.com.  A member of our customer advocate team will then update your customer profile to include tax exemption status.
  • Do you have any foreign distribution centers?

    We ship direct from our facility in Cincinnati, OH.  We do not have any overseas distribution centers. 
  • Who is your default shipper?

    We ship direct to customers through UPS – which picks up from our facility daily. 
  • Can you ship via a third-party freight service?

    We currently do not allow for customers to arrange pickups from us via third-party freight services.  Orders must be shipped via UPS, FedEx, or DHL – and must either be billed directly to a customer’s account or prepaid on the order.   
  • Is there a minimum order requirement on your website?

    For domestic orders, the minimum order requirement is $20.00.  For international orders, the minimum order requirement is $250.00. 
  • How can I check stock?

  • Can you send partial shipments of orders?

    We can send partial shipments for domestic orders.  For international orders, all products must be shipped together at one time unless the customer provides us with their own UPS/FedEx/DHL account and gives us permission to have multiple shipping charges billed through this account. 
  • How are UPS charges calculated?
