Non-sterile Acrodisc® syringe filters are essential for dissolution and content uniformity testing applications. Their sterile counterparts are the laboratory workhorse that protects sample or culture quality and sterility, mainly used in media filtration, cell cultures, protein purification, sample clean-up, virus filtration, and mycoplasma reduction. ValuPrep™ syringe filters are reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions that deliver accurate analysis with low levels of UV-absorbing extractables and no ghost peaks while protecting columns and instruments from particulate build-up to avoid instrument downtime. Four ValuPrep™ membrane types are available, including PTFE hydrophobic, nylon, PVDF hydrophilic, and wwPTFE water wettable membrane.
