Tisch Scientific PES Membrane FIlter, 0.45 µm, 47 mm, Nonsterile, 200 Pack, SF15022

Tisch Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filters are hydrophilic, have high flow rates, a low non-specific protein adsorption, and are chemically resistant over a pH range of 1 – 14. They are recommended for the filtration of aqueous solutions as well for protein filtration. The low level of extractables makes them suitable for environmental analysis, as well.

Product Details

Tisch Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filters are very versatile. They provide for filtration and removal of bacteria and other fine particles such as fungi.

PES is a hydrophilic media. Because it wets out quickly, PES filters often have high flow rates, faster filtration, and high throughputs. As a nonsterile material, PES can hold up to sterilization via autoclave or gamma irradiation techniques.

PES membranes also minimize analyte binding as it is a very low protein binding filtration media.
