GE Healthcare offers a variety of weighing papers with minimal influence on analytical results for weighing and transporting sample. Weighing boats (pre-pleated format) and grade B-2 papers (sheet format) are made from very low nitrogen parchment paper, making them an excellent choice for sample transfer to Kjeldahl digestion tubes with minimal influence on analytical results. Weighing boats enable the transfer of your samples completely loss-free by simply dropping the entire weighing boat containing the sample into the acid solution in the Kjeldahl digestion tube.
Whatman weighing papers are designed for weighing and transferring samples. The low nitrogen content grades are suitable for Kjeldahl techniques in applications such as protein content determination in food samples or nitrogen content determination in soils.
