MCE Membrane Filters, Black Grid

Tisch Mixed Cellulose Ester membrane filters or MCE membrane filters are produced of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate. Since the MCE membranes are biologically inert, it's one of the more commonly used membranes in analytical and research applications. Tisch MCE membrane filters are characterized by a smoother and more uniform surface than a pure nitrocellulose filter. The color distinction shown on the filter surface facilitates particle detection and reduces common eye fatigue. Black gridded MCE is used to aid in manual counting procedures. Black Gridded MCE membranes supply distinction between residue or cell colors and the filter without having to counter-stain the membrane. They are most commonly used in Fluorescent bacteriological assays, particle monitoring, bioassays and Particle monitoring, air monitoring, and fluorescent assays. They are known for their high porosity, high protein binding and high purity properties.

Tisch Scientific offers an extensive selection of proven, yet affordable products that are in stock and ready to ship today. Selected for their durability, material quality and performance characteristics, our microfiltration devices deliver accurate, measurable results at a fraction of the cost. Available in a wide variety of materials, sizes, and in sterile and non-sterile options, they are a superior choice for use in environmental, biotechnology, food/beverage, agricultural and many other applications.
