PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is a hydrophobic, solvent resistant membrane that exhibits low levels of UV absorbing extractable. PVDF is useful for HPLC sample filtration, as well as general biological filtration. PVDF is considered to be one of the low protein binding membranes.

Syringe Filters w/ 3 Pre-Filters can process three to seven times more sample volume than standard syringe Filters, and are an alternative solution to Cytiva's GD/X series of syringe filters. The 3 Pre-Filter construction (GF, GF and PP) facilitates exceptional loading capacity with fast flow rates. This prevents the buildup of backpressure typically caused by the blocking of an unprotected membrane.
